Our Last Show:

In June, Axstane Players presented "Turn of the Screw"

Brenda Barker Director commented:

3 months of rehearsals, learning lines and moves, finding props and costumes, building the set, painting the back cloth, dressing the set, designing lighting and sound effects, rehearsing, rehearsing, rehearsing .... and it culminated in two amazing incredible performances on Friday and Saturday. I am SO proud of my amazing talented cast and crew and thank them from the bottom of my heart for bringing this play alive. Now all we have to do is take down the set, look through the photographs and remember what a brilliant job everyone did on this production of 'Turn of the Screw'. Thank you Axstane Players, you should all be incredibly proud of what you've achieved xx

 Plea for Chaperones!

If you are interested in joining a drama group, but are not one to tread the boards, nor a dab hand for backstage work, then look no further - we have a place for you! We have a number of junior members taking part in various productions of ours, and for them to do so we need licensed chaperones. If you are interested in joining us (in any way, shape or form), then please get in touch - axstaneplayers@hotmail.co.uk.
